Growing up in College Station, Texas, he spent his formative years there and distinguished himself by being named the Texas highest ranking graduate award and a finalist for the National Merit scholarship. Continuing his educational journey, he pursued a degree in Bioengineering at Rice University, where he graduated with honors, magna cum laude. Driven by his passion for medicine, he pursued his medical education at UT Southwestern Medical School. Following that, he completed his residency in Neurology at Saint Louis University, where he achieved the highest score in The Residency In-service Training Examination. To further expand his expertise, he pursued a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the prestigious University of Michigan. He practices general neurology, and specializes in sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea, hypersomnia, narcolepsy, parasomnias, etc. Dr. Wu sees patients in both our Mansfield and Bedford offices. He is renowned for his expertise as a medical practitioner with a strong emphasis on preventive, and preemptive care. He considers advanced procedures as a final option and prioritizes collaborating with patients to foster a lifestyle that fosters good health. He keeps up with new insights on modern medicine. In cases where additional protective measures are required, he demonstrates great adaptability, customizing his approach to suit each individual and consistently delivering the most suitable personalized care for every patient. Dr. Wu possesses a deep passion for patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. His office is warm and inviting, offering multilingual services in English and various other languages through interpretation services. He has been licensed from Medical Boards in Missouri, Michigan and Texas. Dr. Wu derives pleasure from a diverse range of activities, including traveling, swimming, playing the violin, engaging with computers, and participating in dodgeball.
